My Story
A desire to improve my fitness and lose weight was what first brought me to yoga 10 years ago. After a few years of still buying into bullshit diet culture, things began to shift for me when I learned more about the roots of yoga and began to truly feel into my body for the first time. Yoga stopped being a tool of body control & oppression, and became a tool of body acceptance and expression.

My aim in teaching yoga is to create an inclusive space where you can connect with your breath and body, enabling you to feel empowered to move in a way that feels good. I try to only use accessible language when describing poses, the movements we’re making and where in our bodies we may be feeling things. This is because I want you to feel supported and welcome in my classes.
My experience includes nearly 10 years of personal practice and 5 years of teaching. My training includes 200-hour hot & hatha yoga plus additional trainings on vinyasa, yin, restorative, teaching inclusive yoga, yoga nidra, pregnancy & post-natal yoga, and supporting on teacher trainings.

P.S. Sometimes my dogs come to class (but just sit by the side, out of the way)
