What people have said about previous retreats
'The retreat was like sinking into a hot bath. I was nurtured, heard and given space to explore my need for rest. Sally created an atmosphere that was like returning home: Being comforted, cooked for and allowed to stop and take a break. The sessions taught me to look at stress, how to balance the elements in my life and how to respond to what my body is saying. I learned better sleep skills, how to make space for rest and that resilience isn't necessarily my greatest asset. I had to leave my comfort zone to attend, and within a few hours my guard had dropped because I was being looked after with all my needs considered in a calm, soft space with others feeling like I did. It was an incredible experience that healed me more than I ever expected.' - March 2023 retreat

Things to note
- Communal spaces: we'll use living area in the Barn as one of the communal spaces for yoga (if the weather is bad) as well as the garden. There's also a beautiful new cabin (Ty Mawr) that we'll use as our main hub for cooking, eating and getting together. Ty Mawr also has two luxurious shower rooms with rainfall heads and plentiful piping hot water.
- Best efforts will be made to ensure you are sharing with someone of the same gender however this can't be guaranteed.
- Please try and use only eco toiletries while on site.
- Alcoholic drinks will not be provided with meals. You are welcome to bring your own if you'd like to enjoy say a glass of wine or the like with dinner, however please be mindful of guests who chose not to drink (I love a drink but this is not the place for us to be getting lairy!).
- All food will be plant-based although I can't guarantee that dairy won't be present in the ingredients I use. I'm afraid I can't cater for allergies due to the nature of the shared kitchen space. If you're at all unsure, please email me before booking (accessyogauk@gmail.com)
- My dogs Bella and Lola (both 10 years old) and Rad (2 years old) will be joining us for the retreat. They'll mostly be found sleeping on their beds downstairs although will happily come for a cuddle with you if you'd like. If you dislike dogs, this retreat won't be suitable for you.
- This weekend retreat is gender inclusive and suitable for those aged 18 and up as well as for those with limited mobility and/or flexibility. You're also welcome if you are new to or have an existing yoga practice. I'm afraid is isn't suitable for wheelchair users. If you're pregnant, please contact me to discuss before booking at accessyogauk@gmail.com
- The site owners may ask for a few photos over the week, so that they can advertise their space for future retreats. If you're not keen on your photo being taken or used in this way, please let me know.
